Continued work on our town’s roadside ash survey, walking about 2 miles round-trip and seeing our first red-winged blackbird of the year, as well as some Canada geese and a barred owl. While I was measuring and inventorying, my wife carried a trash bag and filled it the beer cans people chucked out of their car windows all winter. Bud Light is a particular beer of choice for one regularly joyriding asshole who likes to take to the backroads every 2-3 weeks and toss empties out at regular intervals.
