It has been a mild winter, with few snowstorms. Still some snow on the ground in our backyard, but plenty of bare slopes. Fewer “polar vortexes” than in recent years. Only one storm of ~ 1’ of snow. Could still get snow before April, but that’s looking unlikely. Haven’t been good about putting the trail cam out, but when I have we’ve had deer and raccoons, and lots of tracks I haven’t studied well. Big year for pine siskins in Vermont.
